. . . . .the night of darkness, 8 BF. . . . .in the lowlights of an underground basement, wara mamani fervently worked in deafening silence. vials bubbled around the sorceress as bone chilling screams only a few feet outside her windows stiffened her shoulders. the night had grown long under the attack of the innox, sweat beaded on her forehead. seconds felt like minutes and the race against time drew closer and closer to her doorsteps. thin lips rapidly muttered incantations over a thick, vicious liquid and suddenly the world went dark. a heavy smoke had filled the lab, making it hard to see the indistinct figure crouched in it. for a moment she blinks hard, before reaching out aimlessly in search of her vengeance fuelled creation. just as her thin fingers wrapped around a soft wrist, a shower of bullets permeated the entrance to her hideout.with a tight hold on her creation, she slid through a trap door built into the floor of the lab. levers and switches would take them through a maze snaking under the city of iladon. echoes of footsteps above them followed for what felt like hours until the wara emerged an hours distance away from evoit. it’s in the streaks of moonlight cast over frighteningly exposed land that she sees what she’s dragged along behind her.she’s created a girl. when word of the innox attack had reached the north, she knew they would need reinforcements. not in order to protect their population nor town, but to protect the land that fed her riches. wara was not selfless, rather, the opposite of that. she had begun to make a small fortune selling potions in iladon, and had no intention of losing the foundation she had begun to build nor her life to the innox.
wara had no trust in the protection of the noxir. their children were young and fearful, and not enough of them had fought in battle before. so she decided to make her own soldier, a prototype meant to act as a blueprint for further, if needed. a man made weapon.she stares at the girl and the girl stares back, and even in the light of the large moon above, there’s no shine in her eyes. wara then knows she’s succeeded. a weapon is not meant to feel, a weapon is meant for destruction, and the girl before her, born of bloodshed and death, stared out at the remains of iladon, unblinking.they reached evoit overnight and news had already travelled about the massacre of iladon. droyi coire was in an all out war.a creation of such calibre, a human girl, would have resulted in the highest condemnation in any other circumstances. but with the threat of a war to deal with, the elders table wara’s fate for the future. the deliberation never comes as they begin to notice the girl's usefulness. just in three years time, the girl of thirteen, named akllasqa, had developed explosives embedded with potions. with her help, they ward off an attack on the capital and she quickly joins the ranks of the guard.armed with daggers and specially made weapons, aklla quickly becomes a force to fear and not underestimate.
. . . . . . . . . . .the lab, 1 AR. . . . . . . . . .aklla is captured by the innox during a battle at shago. in the middle of setting up a trap, she’s shot with a tranquilizer from afar and her world fades away.she wakes up with her cheek against the floor of a cold cell. staring in at her through a window that makes up one wall of the holding cell are three unfamiliar faces in lab coats. she sits up, legs crossed, and stares back at them. she’s convinced she’ll find a way out of the cell in no time, and for the time being will wait for her audience to leave. instead of what she had planned, all she remembers is pain.she spent the next year in and out of a blurry state of consciousness. just awake enough for them to register motion and brain waves, but not enough to do any harm. monitors constantly chimed around the girl as she was pressed and prodded. all she remembers from her time in the lab was a burning anger in the pit of her stomach, stronger even than the pain she endured under countless tests. and the day she died.
. . . . . . . . . . the fall, 0 AR. . . . . . . . . .scientists get careless, she’s one to know. her anesthetic had been dosed too low and she could feel the motion in her body like never before. but she follows the routine they play every day. they take her vitals, jot down notes and mutter something about how incredible it must be to create a life out of thin air. then an attendant will wheel her into a room and one of many men in lab coats will peer at her like a rat under a microscope. she waits till she’s alone with the man, she still remembers his beady eyes, and the way she had dug her fingers mercilessly into them.she barely makes it out into the hallway before she’s swarmed by heavily armed security. one knocks her out cold, and they decide they’ve run enough tests for the time being. they take her into a room she’s never seen before. it’s colder than the rest of the sterile building, and the woman who looks at her has fatigue carved into her features. they shove her into a metal chamber and strap her flailing limbs in as tightly as they can. the burning cold in her toes starts as soon as they seal the chamber, and it travels slowly up her body.it’s then she realizes that death and a long slumber are one in the same.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .the explosion, 195 AR. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .the freak accident remains unexplained to this day, and aklla doesn’t care much for the why. for the second time in her life, she wakes in a fog, and doesn’t understand where or why she’s there. alarms pierce the sound of chambers clicking open around her, the cryopreservation chambers have been activated and aklla is sure that they weren’t meant to be. if nothing else, she’s learned to run when given the opportunity. bare feet, she tears through the corridor of the facility, following the frantic crowd escaping. she hears voices shouting at her, but they’re ignored as an earth shattering boom shakes the ground under her. she’s momentarily thrown off her feet but urgency pushes her forward and she doesn’t stop running even when her muscles scream under the strain. aklla only turns to look at the lab when she’s at the edge of the forest. the building is alight in flames from the explosion, and the corners of her lips curl up into a small grin before she ducks into the cover of the trees.she makes it out into the barren land after a month’s time in the quelled forest. with little sleep and food, she collapses when she finally enters evoit. familiar and yet altogether so different is all she can think of before arms are around her, pulling her into the nearest lodging.they tell her a story, history, that makes her head spin. aklla had been gone for over 200 years. in that time, they had lost the war, wara had fallen in battle, and the flourishing north of droyi coire had been reduced to a daily battleground in itself. aklla had been born a weapon, and it didn’t take long to rebuild her into one. with her name in the history books, and as the innox labs’ experimentation came to light over the year, the noxir of evoit had found the perfect home for the lost soldier.

aklla fit in perfectly with the mage renegade rebel group. wired to take down a common enemy, she set her goals with the rebels. she never did make it easy on them. girl of supposedly twenty, quickly made a name for herself among the group. like a travel back in time, she became known for her work with chemicals and potions and had situated herself comfortably in the rebel base lab in shago. the same city she had faced her first defeat became her new home.she now spends her time concocting potions for the use of the rebels, and partnering (in the loosest definition of the word) with her fellow teammates in missions for their cause.the girl made weapon was beginning her journey as the weapon made girl.

abilities potion making. aklla is considered a sorceress like her mother but her practice parallels alchemy. unable to cast spells verbally, her magic comes directly from potions and the magic infused in them.however, she is able to cast illusions but only through a dagger laced with a psychedelic potion. once the dagger nicks skin, the potion quickly seeps into her opponent and aklla is then able to control what their senses see, hear, taste and smell.
. . . . . . . . . . .descendants. . . . . . . . . .this is aklla's default verse for desc/disney based muses and all other verses are based off her descendants backstory. in short, she is the daughter of yzma, a creation made in a lab rather than born. brought to life on the isle, she works with yzma and kronk, she leeches magic from hade's, to sell potions for the desperate. armed with a half-made potion, she crosses to auradon when given the chance with one mission in mind, the reason she was created: kill kuzco and get her revenge. FURTHER DETAILS HERE.. . . . . .. . . . .general fantasy. . . . . . . . this is an alternate fantasy verse outside of her original lore. aklla is the result of a spell gone horribly wrong. her mother attempts to resurrect her younger sister, lost too young, but the results of that attempt are unlike anything she'd expected. in the body of the witch's sibling rises a girl entirely removed from the soul of her sister. the girl stares back at her with blank eyes, and not an ounce of familiarity or love in her heart. unable to re-bury a face that's so similar to her own blood, she let's the girl live with her. learning alchemy and potion-making from the woman she now calls mother, she grows to be an exceptionally talented sorceress. many come from kingdoms far and wide for her potions, but everything comes with a price.
. . . . . . . . . . . grishaverse. . . . . . . . . .when the darkling makes his nichevo'ya in the shadow fold, it happens all too quick. he makes a girl, as much human as she is his monster. she's the first nichevo'ya, his first creation made by merzost. this results in an inexplainable bond between the two. similarly to the nichevo'ya, aklla is able to take the form of the winged creatures, and manipulate shadows to a lesser degree than the darkling. she becomes his soldier and faithful right hand.
